Our school opened in 1983 as a co-educational school. It is located on a beautiful twelve-acre site with extensive playing fields and surrounded by mature trees.
Among the specialist rooms provided are an Engineering / Metalwork room, a Construction Studies / Materials Technology (Wood) room, a Technical Drawing / Technical raphics room, two Art rooms, two Science laboratories, a Home Economics room / Kitchen & Cooking area, a Music room, and a theatre come assembly hall. We have three modern computer suites with high speed broadband access to the internet.
Learning Support is provided for students with a range of learning difficulties, subject to the resources provided by the Department of Education and Science. In line with current thinking, our school favours main-streaming students with learning difficulties. This means that such students are integrated into regular classes and withdrawn for special help from learning support or resource teachers.
