Course Content:
Year one of this course is in facial therapy (diploma) – the second year is at advanced diploma level with practical experience. Students obtain internationally recognised professional qualifications. It is ideal for those who wish to pursue a career in Beauty Therapy and the Beauty related industry.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Leaving Certificate with passes in at least five subjects: one being a science subject. (Home Economics Social & Scientific will be accepted). Places will be allocated on the basis of a suitability interview. Mature students who do not have the above qualifications are invited to apply.

Upon successfull completion of the course, career options include the following:
Beauty Consultant, Salon Employee in Hotel, Health Farm, Cruise Ship & Leisure Centre, Make-up Artist, Self-employed Mobile Therapist, Beauty Specialist, Beauty Therapist, Sales Rep. for cosmetic Company, Nail Technician, Masseuse, Aromatherapist & Reflexologist.
*Interviews arranged through the College for Cruise Ship and Hotel Spa Therapists.
Maintenance Grants
Students taking PLC Courses are now eligible to apply for maintenance grants. These grants are means tested.

FEES
There are no tuition fees. Examination Fees, membership fees of professional bodies (where applicable) and other items (course materials) are payable at various times during the academic year.
Students require two uniforms, personal product kit books & equipment. Fee for this is as follows:
