Uniform Policy

It is agreed between Students, Parents and Teachers that Students will wear the proper School Uniform in the school at all times and in all school-related situations.  The School Uniform shall consist of:

Boys – Petrol Blue jumper with School Crest, white shirt, navy trousers. NO STRIPES – NO JEANS –available from Joe Durkin’s, Ballymahon Street, Longford.

Girls – Petrol Blue jumper with School Crest, white shirt, navy trousers or skirt .NO STRIPES – NO JEANS –available from Joe Durkin’s, Ballymahon Street, Longford.

N.B.    Pupils should put their name on tags on uniform jumpers to ensure that they do not   get lost.

The wearing of jewellery should be kept to a minimal. Students are requested for health and safety reasons, to remove all jewellery and tied hair back if long, during practical classes. The Student must obey the instructions of the Teacher. The decision of the Principal is final.

It is the responsibility of the Student to ensure that his/her uniform is fully in order, neat and without alterations to style.  Students who have other fleeces, jackets, scarfs, gloves or hats must leave them in the Assembly Hall or locker during class.  Failure to do so will be recorded in the Journal and reported to Year Head.

Footwear

We will accept black shoes or all-black runners.
