Basketball is open to all students at Templemichael College! With Junior and Senior Boys and Girls Teams, there’s a place for everyone to play, learn, and grow. Training sessions are held weekly after school and during the week, providing plenty of opportunities to improve your game.
Congratulations to our 2nd Year Boys Team for winning the Midlands BIPPS Plate 2024—a testament to the talent and dedication of our players! And in 2026 our U16 boys basketball team were champions for the Leinster D Final Cup.
Develop your skills, enjoy the game, and be part of the action with our Junior and Senior Boys Soccer Teams. With regular training, competitive matches, and guidance from experienced coaches, it’s a fantastic way to grow as a player, have fun, and represent our school!
Girls from all years have enjoyed training programs with experienced coaches and competing in events like the Longford GAA Schools Blitz at Slashers GAA Complex. It’s a fantastic way to develop skills, stay active, and be part of a supportive team. Get involved and give it a go!
Students from 1st, 2nd and 5th year take part in running club with Ms Fallon. They participate in weekly training sessions in the Mall. They took part in several athletic competitions and cross country events.
SpikeBall is a fast-paced and exciting variation of volleyball, designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of the game in a fun and engaging way. Played in teams, it helps build coordination, teamwork, and a love for the sport. At Templemichael College, 1st and 2nd Year Boys and Girls enjoy SpikeBall as a great way to stay active, develop skills, and have fun with friends. It’s the perfect introduction to the world of volleyball!
