Marble Arch Caves

2nd Yr Geography students visited the Marble Arch Caves, County Fermanagh, to explore limestone formations such as stalactites and stalagmites. This trip enhanced their understanding of a key topic in the Junior Cycle Geography curriculum.

The Big Dig 

"The Big Dig" is an engaging event gave all junior History students the chance to experience the skills and life of an archaeologist firsthand.
Through a practical excavation of a replica early medieval Irish dwelling, students learned about uncovering artefacts and had the unique opportunity to see and hold genuine artefacts from the era.

    

Rathcroghan Visitors Centre 

Our international and 5th-year students visited Cruachan Ai and Sliabh Bán, learning about Queen Medb, Rathcroghan, and Halloween’s Irish origins. They also explored the Owennagat Cave, linked to Irish folklore.

Dublin Zoo 

3rd Year Science students visited Dublin Zoo for their Junior Cert ecology fieldwork. The group had a great day, combining education with fun in a fantastic setting!
