Music Generation

Music Generation Longford aims to give young musicians an opportunity to meet up with other like-minded people and to give them more outlets for their musical expression via a local hub, concerts, summer camps, online hubs and perhaps even playing support to bands at festivals. Often as a young musician it can be difficult to find people your own age with similar interests.. Music Generation changes all of that. Music is about making connections, expressing oneself and having fun doing it.

In Sept 2021, Templemichael College began working with Music Generation Longford who came into the school to teach our students how to play musical instruments such as keyboard, drums, ukulele and guitar. We were delighted to offer our school as a venue for Music Generation Longford and welcome such a positive cultural influence into the school.
