The Department of Education has announced 50m in funding as part of Ireland’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) under Next Generation EU funding facility to invest in digital infrastructure to support students who are most at risk of educational disadvantage through the digital divide.

Templemichael College will receive a portion of this funding which will allow the school to further invest in its ICT. This investment will benefit the students by giving them greater access to digital devices thus improving their digital literacy and ICT capabilities. Having greater access to ICT will enhance interaction and increase student engagement.
