Our 1st to 5th yr Student Awards Ceremony took place on Thursday 26th May. It was the first time in two years that we were able to get together as a school community to celebrate the achievements and involvement of our amazing students.

The Awards were presented by special guest Shane Crossan who has held the role of School Completion Programme Coordinator with the school for the last 11 years but will be leaving us soon for a new position at Longford County Council. Chairperson of our BOM and Cathaoirleach of Longford County Council Peggy Nolan presented Shane with a gift from the school as recognition of his service. Shane gave an inspirational speech to all students present with some lovely advice on how to live their live their lives to the fullest. We would like to thank Peggy Nolan and Shane Crossan for taking the time out to come in to the school to speak and present the Awards to students. The afternoon continued with the presentation of Awards for student achievement and involvement.

Congratulations to all those who won awards at the ceremony including 3rd yr JCSP Students Of The Year Ava Norton and Ernests Landmanis.; Junior Sportsperson Of The Year William Stokes (3rd Yr); Sporting Achievement Julia Warchol (1st yr) for her personal success in Swimming during the year.
